City Selects IGS (Interstate Gas Supply, LLC) as Natural Gas Supplier
Tallmadge, Ohio (March 13, 2026) – The City of Tallmadge has selected IGS (Interstate Gas Supply, LLC) as the supplier for its natural gas aggregation program. Participants in the program will receive a fixed rate of $4.53 per Mcf, effective with April 2026 usage (May 2026 billing) through September 2026 usage (October 2026 billing). A rate change notice will be sent for the next term.
Mayor Carol Siciliano-Kilway said, “The City of Tallmadge is pleased to secure such a competitive fixed rate for our residents and small businesses before prices potentially rise. This program is especially beneficial because customers may opt out at any time without penalty.”
IGS Energy added, “We are honored to provide Tallmadge with price certainty and the same effortless experience we offer all our customers. We look forward to supplying natural gas to the City of Tallmadge community and welcome them to the program. “
Eligible residents and small businesses will be automatically enrolled in the program unless they choose to opt out. Notification letters were mailed on March 13, 2026, with instructions for opting out. Those who do not receive a letter but are interested in enrolling with IGS Energy may call 1-877-353-0162 for more information.
Enbridge Gas Ohio will continue to be responsible for the delivery of natural gas to residential and commercial customers. Enbridge will also continue to maintain meters, conduct monthly meter readings, and maintain the pipelines that deliver natural gas. Customers will continue to receive their natural gas bills from Enbridge Gas Ohio.
Residents and businesses may join or leave the aggregation program at any time without an early termination fee. Enrollment can take up to 1-2 billing cycles to begin once the previous program ends. Customers who are not currently part of the aggregate program, and do not enroll in with IGS Energy or another supplier, will be returned to Enbridge Gas Ohio’s standard service and may be randomly assigned a supplier.
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio provides an “Apples-to-Apples” comparison chart of certified suppliers’ offers and additional information at energychoice.ohio.gov/ApplestoApples.aspx.
