Partner Organizations

The City of Tallmadge works closely with its regional economic development partners to support business success, whether by helping existing Tallmadge companies grow, attracting new companies, or supporting entrepreneurial startup ventures. As the City’s liaison to the business community, the Tallmadge Economic Development Office will help facilitate and coordinate these connections and provide tailored solutions and opportunities to meet individual business goals and objectives.

Greater Akron Chamber

The Greater Akron Chamber is a regional economic development organization serving the counties of Summit, Medina & Portage in Northeast Ohio.

Development Finance Authority of Summit County

Implements economic development financing initiatives that strengthen and diversify the economy of Summit County and Northeast Ohio by encouraging investment in business, industrial, transportation, distribution and community development projects.

Portage Development Board

The Portage Development Board (PDB) partners with businesses and individuals who choose Portage County to locate, build and grow their enterprises.  PDB provides information on financing, tax incentives, real estate and property, and anything about the benefits of doing business in Portage County. PDB is the economic development office for Portage County.

Summit County

The County of Summit, through its economic development efforts, seeks to encourage regional job growth and business development in an effort to increase economic opportunity for all Summit County residents.

TeamNEO

TeamNEO is an economic development organization focused on creating jobs for Northeast Ohio’s residents. In collaboration with its partners, it leads the region’s business attraction efforts, supports business retention and expansion work as Northeast Ohio’s JobsOhio affiliate.

JobsOhio

JobsOhio is a private non-profit corporation designed to drive job creation and new capital investment in Ohio through business attraction, retention, and expansion efforts.

Ohio Department of Development

The Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA) works to support Ohio’s businesses. ODSA resources include the Small Business Development Centers, the Minority Business Development Centers, and International Trade Assistance Centers, as well as the Small and Minority Business Financial Incentives Programs, and Ohio Third Frontier.

Small Business Administration

The SBA helps Americans start, build and grow businesses. Through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations, SBA delivers its services to people throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam.
