Residential Leaf Collection

Leaf Collection Season will begin on Monday, November 3, 2025

This year's program will operate differently than in previous years. Instead of scheduled section pickups, we will focus on areas with larger leaf accumulations. The leaf collection season will run for approximately four weeks from the start date, with city-wide pickups occurring concurrently. There will be a minimum of two pickups for each area this season.

Tips to Assure Collection

  • We encourage you to rake your leaves out as they fall.
  • Have your leaves raked to the street as close and as narrow as possible (but NOT IN THE STREET). Pickups will begin by 7am daily.
  • Avoid raking leaves near street signs, mailboxes, catch basins, culvert pipes, or fire hydrants.
  • Please avoid parking cars on the street, as leaf collection crews will not be able to collect leaves from areas with parked vehicles.
  • Leaves containing branches, brush, grass clippings, or other debris will NOT be picked up. These items may be bagged and placed with your regular trash for pickup.
  • In the event of inclement weather, equipment malfunctions, or staffing issues, city crews may experience delays. Every effort will be made to collect all leaves raked to the street.
