Recreation Center Memberships

This is our basic membership level. Blue memberships include the walking track, courts, field, racquetball court, and all strength and cardio equipment. Adult supervision is required for children ages 12 and under. 

Gold Level Memberships

Gold memberships include everything in a blue membership plus fitness classes for ages 16 and older and child care for ages 1-12 during your workout. Adult Supervision is required for children ages 12 and under.

Annual Memberships

Annual memberships are a 12-month commitment. They may be paid in full or you may choose to be billed monthly through your checking or savings account. Memberships billed monthly will continue to renew until canceled by the member. Memberships paid in full will expire after one year and will not automatically renew.

Free 7-Day Membership

Want to try the Rec Center before you commit to a membership? If you have not been a member at the Recreation Center in the last 12 months and have never tried a 7-day free membership before, stop in and ask for this membership! Membership is good for 7 consecutive days. One 7-day membership per person per lifetime.

Special Memberships

The Recreation Center has several special memberships. Please call the front desk to inquire about special memberships. Special memberships include:

    • Group Fitness Membership
    • College Student Membership
    • Active Duty Military and Military Veteran Membership
    • Senior (60+) Walking-only Membership

The Recreation Center accepts many insurance-based memberships, including SilverSneakers, Prime, OnePass, Optum, and AAPTIV. Check with your insurance provider or Medicare Supplement provider to determine whether your insurance coverage includes a gym membership!

Child Care Services

Tallmadge Recreation Center offers childcare for its members and guests during their workouts. CPR-certified employees staff the large indoor playground area to provide a safe, fun experience. Childcare is available for children ages 1-12. There is a two-hour time limit and parents must remain in the building. This is included with Gold-Level Memberships and is available for all others at an additional fee. Hours vary, so please inquire with the front desk before your visit.
